A family of five, including women and children, was rescued after their car got stuck in a deep drain in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district while following Google Maps directions.

The incident occurred on Sunday when Sahil, a resident of Greater Noida's Dadri area, was travelling with his family to a relative's house in Meerut district.

Rescue operation lasted for 2 hours after police received an alert through Dial 112 and sought assistance from the fire department.
