Groom's Life Cut Short: Speeding Truck Kills Bridegroom in U.P. Moments Before Wedding Ritual

A tragic incident unfolded in Baghpat district, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday night, leaving a family in mourning. Subodh, a 25-year-old physiotherapist from Pichhokra village, was killed by a speeding truck just minutes before the crucial 'chadhat' ceremony of his wedding. The incident occurred along the Delhi-Saharanpur national highway when Subodh stepped out to vomit. The speeding vehicle dragged him for several meters before fleeing the scene. Despite efforts to save him, Subodh succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital. The police have launched an investigation into the case, with the help of CCTV footage from the area. The truck driver remains at large. The district administration is providing support to the bereaved family. In a separate incident, six people lost their lives, and over 50 others were injured in a bus collision in Tamil Nadu's Tenkasi district. The accident occurred when two buses, one traveling from Madurai to Senkottai and the other from Tenkasi to Kovilpatti, collided on the highway. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
