A 25-year-old woman who was brutally gang-raped on the Gurugram-Faridabad Road had left her home after a prolonged fight with her mother, her sister revealed. The sister last spoke to her on the evening before the tragic incident. 'She was going crazy, and their argument had been ongoing for days,' the sister told NDTV. The woman claimed she was heading to visit a friend and would wait for a three-wheeler. However, she made a distress call to her sister at 3:30 am, only to be met with silence. The sister recalled, 'I called her back, but she didn't respond. Then, I heard her sobbing.' The sister spoke to her for approximately 30 minutes before contacting the woman's friend, who then took her to the hospital. The survivor was referred to a Delhi hospital due to her critical condition, where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit with multiple fractures and wounds. The two accused, one from Uttar Pradesh and the other from Madhya Pradesh, were arrested and sent to judicial custody after being produced in court. The survivor, who had been living with her parents after a feud with her husband, is still battling the trauma of this heinous crime.
