Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini fired back at the Congress party on Thursday, accusing them of spreading misinformation and engaging in baseless claims. Saini's comments came in response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's speech in the Lok Sabha, where Shah highlighted the Congress's questionable record on national security and electoral reforms. Saini, who met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, expressed gratitude for Modi's participation in two major state events. He praised Modi's presence, saying it had elevated Haryana's cultural and spiritual identity. The Haryana CM also confirmed that Amit Shah will visit the state on December 24. Shah's speech in the Lok Sabha sparked a heated exchange between the ruling party and the opposition, with Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal accusing the Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, of not listening to Shah's arguments. Saini took a swipe at Gandhi, saying he should focus on criticizing PM Modi's policies rather than making unfounded claims. The Haryana CM also mocked Gandhi's allegations of 'vote chori,' saying they had fallen flat with the public. 'From intellectuals to those in rural areas, everyone is laughing at them,' Saini quipped. The exchange highlights the tense atmosphere in Parliament, with the ruling party and opposition locked in a battle of wits over key national issues.
