{ "title": "Haryana Coach on the Run: Police Launch Manhunt for Sex Assault Accused", "article": "A national-level shooting coach, Ankush Bhardwaj, is on the run after being accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old athlete. Bhardwaj, who was suspended by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), allegedly assaulted the girl during a competition-related stay in Faridabad last month. A dedicated police team has been formed to track down Bhardwaj, who is believed to be hiding in Mohali. The police have also set up teams in Faridabad and have been conducting raids to apprehend the accused. According to the FIR, the incident occurred on December 16 after the athlete participated in a national-level shooting competition in New Delhi. The coach allegedly threatened to harm the girl's career and family if she disclosed the incident. The Haryana State Women Commission has also written to the police commissioner, seeking a detailed report on the matter. The commission has requested that a dedicated police officer investigate the case, which is considered extremely sensitive. Bhardwaj has been booked under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Section 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The police have assured that the accused will be arrested soon. The NRAI has suspended Bhardwaj from his position as coach of the national junior team and has referred the matter to its internal complaints committee for a detailed inquiry. The investigation by the police will, however, take precedence over the internal inquiry."
