A viral video from an Indian cinema hall has sparked outrage after a group of people pledged to boycott Muslims socially and economically.
The video, shared by a Congress MP, shows a crowd in a movie hall vowing to not do business with Muslims for daily needs.
Police are still trying to identify where the video was shot, with some speculating it could be a hoax.
The pledge was made after a free screening of the film 'The Kerala Story 2', which has been criticized for promoting divisive narratives.
Earlier, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi criticized the use of cinema and media for political propaganda, saying it was being 'weaponized' to vilify communities and create social divisions.
