IndiGo Takes Flight: Delhi-Heathrow Direct Route Now Open

In a significant expansion of international connectivity, IndiGo has launched its direct flights between Delhi and London (Heathrow) starting February 2, 2026. The airline will operate five flights a week on the route using Boeing 787 aircraft, offering a dual-class experience with IndiGoStretch and Economy Class. This new route marks a major milestone in IndiGo's international growth, with the airline now operating a total of 12 weekly flights to London. Delhi is the second Indian city to receive direct flights to London, following the existing daily service from Mumbai. As part of its ambitious international expansion, IndiGo has added over 40 new international routes and 10 destinations in the past 12 months. According to IndiGo's CEO, Pieter Elbers, the new service aims to meet the growing demand for travel between India and the UK, while strengthening connectivity between the two nations. The flight schedule for Delhi to London (6E 0003) and London to Delhi (6E 0004) is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, effective February 2, 2026. Flight times are subject to local time and may vary on the day of operation.
