In a fresh development in the Delhi Red Fort blast case, the Jammu and Kashmir Police's state investigation agency (SIA) has arrested Tufail Niyaz Bhat, an electrician from Pulwama, in connection with the 'white collar' terror module. Bhat's arrest comes as part of the ongoing investigation into the blasts that killed 10 people on November 10. According to officials, concrete evidence has emerged suggesting his involvement in planning the attack. He has been taken for questioning and agencies are now probing the extent of his role within the terror module. The 'white collar' terror module was busted after the Srinagar Police started investigating posters that appeared in Nowgam in mid-October, warning police and security personnel. The investigation led to the arrest of several key suspects, including Arif Nisar Dar, Yasir ul Ashraf, and Maqsood Ahmad Dar, who were identified through CCTV footage. Further investigation revealed a core group of three doctors - Dr Muzzafar Ganaie, Umar Nabi, and Muzzaffar Rather - who were allegedly behind the module. The doctors were linked to Al Falah University in Faridabad, where 2,900 kg of explosive material was recovered. In a related development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formally arrested four main conspirators in the case, taking the total number of arrests to six. The suspects, including Dr Muzammil Shakeel Ganai, Dr Adeel Ahmed Rather, Dr Shaheen Saeed, and Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagay, were detained and arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police before being taken into NIA custody for 10 days of questioning.
