Jailed Wife Gives Birth to Baby Girl Amidst Ongoing Murder Trial in Meerut

In a shocking turn of events, Muskan Rastogi, the main accused in the gruesome murder of her husband Saurabh Rajput in Meerut, has given birth to a baby girl while in jail. The newborn weighed 2.4 kg and was delivered safely via normal delivery at a local medical college on Monday evening. According to officials, Muskan's condition is stable, and she is receiving close monitoring from doctors. Despite efforts to inform her family members, none of them visited her at the hospital. The case, which has sparked widespread outrage, involves Muskan and her lover Sahil Shukla allegedly drugging and stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4. The brutal murder was committed to eliminate Saurabh, who was seen as an obstacle in their love affair. The duo dismembered the body and hid it in a blue drum filled with cement. Investigations revealed that Muskan had been planning the murder since November 2023. Both Muskan and Sahil were arrested on March 18 after Muskan confessed to her family before their arrest. As the trial continues, authorities have increased security measures around the hospital to ensure a smooth and secure environment for Muskan and her newborn baby.
