Jharkhand FinMin Unveils Outreach Programme 2025, Bridging Gap Between Citizens and Government

Medininagar, Jharkhand - In a bid to ensure that no eligible resident in the state is deprived of government benefits, Jharkhand's Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore launched the 2025 edition of the flagship 'Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar' outreach programme. The 10-week initiative will continue till December 15, aiming to provide on-the-spot delivery of benefits under various welfare schemes. The programme, which began with a focus on 'Right to Service' during its first week, will organize camps at the panchayat level in rural areas and ward level in urban areas. District-level events will also be held, with deputy commissioners receiving a notification on the specified dates. The initiative, which was first launched by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on November 15, 2021, has seen significant growth in the past three years. In 2021, 6,867 camps were organized, receiving around 35.95 lakh applications. The following year, 5,696 camps were held, generating 55.44 lakh applications. In 2023, 5,496 camps were organized, receiving 58.26 lakh applications. The programme aims to facilitate the processing of applications related to welfare schemes on the spot, ensuring that villagers receive benefits as soon as possible. During the launch, Minister Kishore also highlighted the success of the Maiyaan Samman Yojana, a flagship initiative that has improved the economic condition of women in the state. At the event, stalls of various government departments were set up to facilitate on-the-spot delivery of benefits. Minister Kishore, along with Palamu Deputy Commissioner Sameera S, inspected the stalls and directed officials to promptly process beneficiaries' applications and disburse the entitled benefits.
