A routine long-distance journey on a Karnataka highway turned into a nightmarish scene of fire, panic, and loss in Chitradurga district. The incident occurred when a speeding truck crashed into a private bus, carrying passengers from opposite directions, around 1:30 am to 2 am. Rafiq, the driver of the private bus, is recovering in the hospital with no memory of how he survived the accident. According to him, the truck was speeding from the opposite direction. "It was clearly over speeding," Rafiq said. "I was driving at 60-70 kilometers per hour. I saw the vehicle coming from the front, but I only know the vehicle hit the bus.
