The Indian Socialist Janata Dal (ISJD) and Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) have announced their candidates for the upcoming Kerala Assembly polls.
ISJD, an ally of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), has fielded candidates in three seats: Murugadas Viswanathan (Chittur), Mathew T Thomas (Thiruvalla), and Sabu George (Ernakulam). The candidate for the fourth seat, Kovalam, will be decided by Tuesday.
ISJD leader K Krishnankutty, who is retiring from electoral politics, announced that he will not contest the polls.
The RSP, an ally of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), has also announced its candidates in four seats: Shibu Baby John (Chavara), Ullas Kovoor (Kunnathur), Santhosh Bhadran (Attingal), and Vishnu Mohan (Eravipuram).
