Man Killed in Fatal Wedding Celebratory Firing in UP, FIR Filed Against Bride's Cousin

A 36-year-old man was tragically shot dead during celebratory firing at a wedding in Khanpur village of Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district. According to eyewitnesses, the bride's cousin, Sugreev Solanki, was firing into the air when a stray bullet hit Dharmendra Bhati, who was seated nearby. Solanki fled the scene immediately after the incident. Bhati, a BJP worker and father of three, was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. An FIR has been registered against Solanki for murder, and police are working to apprehend the absconding accused. The family claims that the shooting was intentional, and Bhati's cousin, Pushpesh, has lodged a complaint against Solanki. The BJP district president and MLA have offered condolences to the grieving family. An investigation is underway, and a postmortem was conducted on Friday. The police are working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
