In a Delhi High Court hearing, a 6-year-old boy, represented by senior advocate Akhil Sibal, has called out actor Karisma Kapoor's children for their 'speculative and guesswork' challenge to their father's alleged will. The minor son of Sunjay and Priya Kapur stated that the challenge was filed without any delay and that Karisma Kapoor's children were aware of the will's contents but chose not to act on it. Sibal argued that the plaintiffs' case relies heavily on speculation, as they claimed that the executor read out the will hurriedly and selectively on July 30. However, he pointed out that the plaintiffs did not seek a copy of the will until August 22, despite their mother's communication with Priya Kapur to finalize the paperwork. Sibal also highlighted that the plaintiffs could have simply filed a suit alleging suspicion over the will but chose to challenge it instead. The case revolves around Sunjay Kapur's alleged will, which involves assets worth ₹30,000 crore. Priya Kapur had previously told the court that it was a 'healthy tradition' for a husband to leave all his assets to his wife. The court is currently hearing the suit filed by Karisma Kapoor's children and is also considering an interim injunction plea to prevent Priya Kapur from alienating them from Sunjay Kapur's assets. Sunjay Kapur died on June 12 after collapsing during a polo match in England, reportedly due to a sudden cardiac arrest. The matter is listed for further arguments next week.
