A chilling incident has unfolded in Noida, where a 26-year-old man has allegedly shot his girlfriend dead after she rejected his marriage proposal. The victim, a 25-year-old woman from Amroha, was found dead at her paying guest accommodation in Noida's Phase 2 area on Friday evening. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida), Shakti Mohan Avasthy, the accused, Krishna, had a dispute with his girlfriend Sonu, which led to the shooting. The police suspect that Krishna's repeated requests for marriage and her refusal may have triggered the tragedy. The couple had previously worked together at a factory, where they had developed a romantic relationship. However, Sonu had recently switched jobs and was employed as a domestic worker at the time of the incident. Krishna, a native of Bihar, is currently absconding, and multiple teams have been formed to apprehend him.
