Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has set the stage for Bundi's transformation into a thriving hub of tourism, agriculture, and industry. At a recent inauguration event, Birla, MP from Kota-Bundi, laid the foundation for a new era of development in the district. The ₹29 crore projects, including a state-of-the-art town hall and upgraded road infrastructure, aim to make Bundi a prominent tourism destination and a frontrunner in development. Birla outlined plans to leverage Bundi's eco-tourism potential, citing the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve as a key attraction. The proposed Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport, set to begin operations in 2027, is expected to boost industrial development and tourism by enhancing connectivity and attracting investment. Bundi is already making strides in agriculture and industry, with a Mother Dairy food processing plant and 19 agro-based units established in the Taleda region. To empower farmers, an Agro-Tech Fair will be organized to provide training on modern farming techniques. Moreover, a Stone Park will be constructed to promote the sandstone industry. The government has committed to ensuring drinking water supply to every household within the next two years through the Gararda and Naunera projects. With these initiatives, Bundi is poised to emerge as a major player in Rajasthan's development landscape.
