In his latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the country's progress in the space and defence sectors, crediting India's youth for their innovative spirit and determination. He shared the story of a team of young individuals from Pune who took part in a drone competition organised by ISRO, where they successfully flew drones in Martian-like conditions despite several setbacks. This achievement reminded PM Modi of the country's perseverance in the face of challenges, particularly during the Chandrayaan-2 mission. He also congratulated the team behind Skyroot's Infinity Campus in Hyderabad, which he inaugurated on November 27, for their pioneering work in India's space ecosystem. The Prime Minister also drew attention to the inauguration of the world's largest Leap Engine MRO facility in Hyderabad and the induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy, emphasizing the country's commitment to self-reliance in the defence sector. These developments demonstrate India's growing capabilities in space and defence, driven by the ingenuity and dedication of its youth.
