PM Modi to Address Media, Winter Session of Parliament Kicks Off Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the media at 10:00 am tomorrow, marking the beginning of the Winter Session of Parliament. The session, which will continue till December 19, is expected to tackle key legislative and financial matters. Ahead of the session, the government convened an all-party meeting on Sunday. The agenda for the Winter Session includes a range of bills, including the Health Security and National Security Cess Bill, 2025, and the Central Excise (Amendment) Bill, 2025. According to sources, other significant bills likely to be taken up include the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2025, and the National Highways (Amendment) Bill, 2025. The session will also see the presentation, discussion, and voting on the first batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants for 2025-26. The INDIA bloc floor leaders have called a meeting at the office of Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament on Monday. This comes as the Winter Session of Parliament gets underway, with PM Modi set to brief the media on the session's key priorities.
