The declaration also acknowledged the role of traditional and complementary medicine in global health, echoing India's holistic approach. Modi's proposals were well-received by the international community, with the G20 Africa-Skills Multiplier Initiative being hailed as a potential game-changer for Africa's development. The initiative aims to prepare one million certified trainers in Africa over the next decade, empowering the continent's workforce transformation. In a significant move, Modi called for extending India-Africa solidarity beyond the G20 framework, emphasizing the need for the voice of the Global South to be heard and strengthened across all global institutions.
