PM Modi Urges Opposition to Shift Focus from Drama to Delivering in Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday called on opposition parties to shift their focus from 'drama' to 'delivery' as the winter session of Parliament began. In a stern warning, he suggested that the opposition should come out of their 'disappointment' after their recent loss in the Bihar assembly elections.Modi emphasized the need for opposition parties to 'rise above' their defeat and focus on discussing 'real issues' in the House. He stated that the opposition should not allow their frustration to hinder the work of Parliament, which has 15 sittings planned until December 19.The opposition has planned to raise several key issues, including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, equality, income, Delhi blast, pollution, and foreign policy. Modi urged the opposition to be mindful of their strategy and deliver results, stating that he is 'ready to give them tips' to improve their approach.Modi's comments came as the opposition demanded a debate on the electoral rolls issue and warned that the work of both Houses could be affected if the discussion is not allowed.
