Noted poll strategist Prashant Kishor has pledged to contribute 90% of his income to fund his Jan Suraaj Party's campaign in Bihar over the next five years. The party's founder also announced plans to donate his assets acquired over the last two decades, excluding his Delhi residence, to the party. Kishor urged the people of Bihar to donate ₹1,000 annually to the party, stating that he would not meet anyone who fails to make this contribution. Kishor's party, Jan Suraaj, aims to strengthen its organisational structure before launching its campaign. The party plans to visit every household in Bihar within 15-18 months to raise awareness about the government's alleged misdeeds. Additionally, Kishor pledged that his party would ensure that the ₹2 lakh promised by the NDA reaches the women in Bihar. He accused the NDA of buying votes by transferring ₹10,000 into the bank accounts of over 1 crore women, claiming that the state government has no concern for the people. Jan Suraaj failed to secure a single seat in the recent Bihar Assembly elections, despite garnering significant public support. The NDA, on the other hand, won 202 seats, securing a historic victory in the polls. Kishor's party had contested 238 out of 243 seats in the election.
