A prominent Punjabi singer, Dilnoor, has approached Mohali police after allegedly receiving a ransom threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller, claiming to be Arju Bishnoi, demanded ₹10 crore from fellow singer B Praak, warning that if the money was not paid within a week, serious consequences would follow. Dilnoor first noticed two missed calls from an overseas number on January 5, but it was the next day that he received a suspicious call, which he quickly disconnected. Shortly after, he received a voice message allegedly containing the ransom threat. The caller demanded ₹10 crore and warned that B Praak would be harmed if the money was not paid. The Mohali police have initiated an investigation, examining the call details and audio message. This reported threat comes amid a series of extortion calls and firing incidents linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang has previously sent threats to several celebrities, including Salman Khan, and was also involved in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhhu Moosewala. Police are taking this new threat seriously and are working to ensure the safety of B Praak and other potential targets.
