A violent confrontation between two rival gangs shook the Kotputli-Behror region in Rajasthan on Wednesday evening. According to police, a Thar and a Swift attempted to run over three men riding a motorcycle, prompting them to retaliate with gunfire. The chaotic sequence of events was captured on CCTV footage, which surfaced on Friday. The incident occurred on Harsora Road in Bansur town, where the Thar and Swift rammed into the motorcycle carrying Mahipal Gurjar, Ghanshyam Gurjar, and Kalu. Mahipal Gurjar pulled out a pistol and fired at the Thar, while the Swift attempted to strike the men again. The bikers then fled, with Gurjar continuing to fire at the vehicles from a nearby wall, forcing the attackers to retreat. After the bikers escaped, the men in the Thar and Swift smashed the motorcycle with iron rods, causing panic in the area. Authorities have linked the attack to an old rivalry between Mahipal Gurjar and Vinod Poswal, although the exact motive is still under investigation. A search operation has been launched, with police setting up checkpoints and conducting raids to apprehend the suspects. A forensics team collected evidence from the scene, including two empty cartridges.
