Residents of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir have expressed solidarity with the Indian Army after multiple suspected Pakistani drones were spotted along the Line of Control in recent days. The sightings, which have been reported in sectors including Naushera-Rajouri, RS Pura, Naushera, and Poonch, have led to increased vigilance by the Indian Army. Locals have praised the Army's efforts to maintain security and have vowed to support them in any way possible. 'We stand with the Indian Army and will contribute in whichever way we can,' said residents in a statement. The heightened security measures come as a search and combing operation is underway in the Billawar area of Kathua district following reports of gunfire on Tuesday. Security has also been tightened in the Samba district after suspected Pakistani drones were spotted along the LoC on Sunday. Residents of the Keri sector, where the drone activity has been reported, expressed concern over the increased sightings and praised the Army's efforts to maintain security. 'We live along the LoC and have seen Pakistani drone activity in our sector over the last 2-3 days. Our Army is active, but we civilians are even more active in supporting them,' said Anish Kasana, a resident of the Keri sector. The residents' show of support for the Indian Army comes as tensions remain high along the LoC. The Indian Army has been proactive in responding to the suspected drone incursions, with Operation Sindoor seeing a befitting reply to Pakistan's provocations. Despite this, Pakistani drones continue to be spotted along the LoC, prompting the Indian Army to remain vigilant.
