At least 45 Indian pilgrims, mostly from Hyderabad, were killed in a devastating bus fire accident after a collision with an oil tanker in Saudi Arabia's Madina. The Telangana government has confirmed that 38 family members of the victims have arrived in Jeddah, where a team led by Telangana Minister Mohammad Azharuddin is coordinating with Saudi authorities to facilitate the repatriation of the bodies and oversee funeral arrangements. DNA profiling is currently underway to identify the victims, with the funeral expected to take place on Friday, pending official clearance from the Saudi government. The lone survivor, Mohammed Abdul Shoaib, is receiving treatment at the Saudi German hospital in Jeddah and is reportedly out of danger. Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Ajaz Khan, is working closely with Telangana Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin and Saudi authorities to complete the necessary formalities. Meanwhile, Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has been in touch with the Ambassador and has been assured that Prime Minister's Office officials are also in regular contact with the Indian envoy, facilitating the process of repatriation and funeral arrangements.
