A bizarre incident has left many stunned in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura. A 39-year-old e-rickshaw driver, identified as Deepak, visited a local hospital after being bitten by a 1.5-foot-long snake. However, instead of seeking immediate medical attention, he brought the snake with him to the hospital in his jacket pocket. A viral video shows Deepak taking out the snake when questioned by hospital staff. He claimed that he had arrived 30 minutes earlier but was unhappy with the facility's resources. The hospital's Chief Medical Superintendent, Neeraj Agrawal, immediately ordered the snake to be removed, citing safety concerns for other patients. Police were then called to the scene, and the snake was safely rescued. Interestingly, the forest department later confirmed that the snake belonged to Deepak. This shocking incident has sparked concerns about the safety of local hospitals and the handling of venomous snakes. In a separate incident in Noida, a snake was spotted slithering inside a decorative ceiling light, leaving residents on edge. While the reptile in that case has not been recovered, the two incidents highlight the importance of proper snake handling and hospital preparedness for such emergencies.
