Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reaffirmed his government's commitment to elevating the state's education sector, emphasizing its crucial role in providing long-term opportunities and social respect for its citizens. Speaking at the foundation stone ceremony for the Indian Institute of Information Technology's (IIIT) campus in Mahabubnagar's Chittiboyinapalli village, the CM highlighted his government's focus on improving educational facilities and developing skills among students. He stressed the importance of acquiring strong language skills to thrive in today's competitive world. To achieve this goal, the government is investing in multiple Young India Integrated residential schools across the state, with each costing ₹200 crore. Additionally, financial assistance will be provided to those preparing for the Civil Services examinations. During a public meeting in Mahabubnagar, the CM criticized the previous Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) government, accusing it of inadequate funding for development projects despite tall claims. He pointed out that several major irrigation projects, including the Palamuru-Rangareddy project, have been pending completion for over a decade, with thousands of crores spent on them. The CM also expressed frustration over the lack of compensation for displaced farmers, despite the significant expenditure on the Palamuru-Rangareddy project. He challenged opposition leaders to engage in an open discussion on the matter in the assembly. Reiterating his commitment to serving the people, the CM declared that his real enemies are poverty, forces that harm women, students, and the poor, rather than any personal political adversaries.
