Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has unveiled a comprehensive vision document, 'Telangana Rising 2047,' outlining the state's goals for economic growth, social justice, and sustainable development. The 83-page document aims to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047 through innovation, productivity, and inclusive growth. The vision document emphasizes the importance of public-private partnerships, infrastructure development, and wealth creation. To attract global investors, the state government plans to establish a fund that offers various investment options and incentives. This initiative is expected to drive spatially balanced development, ensuring that growth benefits all sections of society, including youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities. The document was developed through a consultative process involving four crore people of Telangana, ensuring that it reflects the state's aspirations and needs. Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra praised the long-horizon planning behind the vision document, noting that it prioritizes people at its core. Telangana's economic performance has been impressive, with the state emerging as one of the fastest-growing in India. Former RBI Governor Duvvuri Subba Rao commended the state's progress, saying that Hyderabad has become a global hub for IT, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. To maintain its economic momentum, Telangana must continue to grow at an annual rate of 8-9% and strengthen its digital infrastructure. The 'Telangana Rising 2047' vision document aligns closely with NITI Aayog's goals, and its success will depend on the state's ability to undertake a constant development cycle, creation of infrastructure, and wealth creation through public-private partnerships.
