In a shocking turn of events, three siblings from a family in Kushinagar's Gularhiya Tola village have succumbed to fever within a span of 48 hours. The deaths have prompted a swift response from the health department, which has dispatched a team of doctors to the area to conduct tests for diseases such as malaria and dengue. The tragedy began when 7-year-old Manju Gaur fell ill a week ago. Despite being taken to a local doctor and later to the district hospital, she passed away on Wednesday. Her younger sister, Khushi, also developed a high fever and was referred to BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur, where she died on Friday morning. In a third blow, Krishna, the son of Manju and Khushi's uncle, died while being taken to Padrauna on Friday morning. The deaths have sent shockwaves through the health department, prompting an immediate investigation into the cause of the tragedy. A medical team has been camping in the village for the past two days, examining and treating children. So far, 57 children have been tested for malaria and dengue, with medicines distributed as needed. The team has also taken measures to disinfect and clean the affected areas, advising villagers to maintain good hygiene practices. While the exact cause of the deaths remains unknown, awaiting medical reports, the health department's swift response has brought some relief to the affected family and the community. The probe is ongoing, and further updates are expected in the coming days.
