A 32-year-old travel influencer Anunay Sood, who had 1.5 million followers on Instagram, has lost his life in Las Vegas, US. According to the Clark County, Nevada coroner's office, the cause of Sood's death was a combination of fentanyl and ethanol toxicity, confirmed on Tuesday by The National. The incident occurred while Sood was staying at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel. Sood was found unresponsive by his companions, who initially thought he was in a deep sleep. However, when they could not wake him up, first responders were called, and CPR was performed along with the administration of five Narcan packets - a life-saving measure for suspected opioid overdose. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's report suggested possible overdose as a cause of Sood's death, citing the suspicion of his companions having obtained drugs from a man. Sood's family announced his passing on November 6 through an Instagram post, requesting respect for their privacy during this difficult time.
