A disturbing incident of road rage has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district, where a group of young men dragged a motorcyclist on their car's bonnet for nearly 500 metres after he allegedly called their vehicle a 'tin box'. The incident, captured on CCTV, took place on the Nagal-Tapri Road in the Dehat Kotwali area, but the exact date is still unclear. According to police, the motorcyclist was heading towards Nagal when a car came from behind and asked him to give way. A heated argument ensued, with the motorcyclist allegedly using the derogatory term for the car. The car's occupants then assaulted him, and when the motorcyclist tried to stop them from leaving, the driver accelerated, causing him to fall onto the bonnet. The car sped for nearly 500 metres with the motorcyclist hanging on, before the driver braked sharply, throwing him onto the road. The attackers then fled the scene. In a separate incident in Noida, a 25-year-old man was allegedly thrashed by three unidentified men in a road-rage attack near Sector 62. The attackers were reportedly angered after the victim overtook their SUV, and they confronted him, abusing and assaulting him before speeding away. Police are investigating both incidents and have promised strict action against the perpetrators. CCTV footage is being analyzed to identify the cars and the attackers involved in both cases.
