Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated 'Veer Bal Diwas' by paying tribute to the Sikh gurus, calling their history a shining example of devotion and bravery. Speaking at a kirtan event, Adityanath praised the sacrifices made by the Sikh gurus, particularly Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was martyred by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. "Today, Aurangzeb's name is barely remembered, but 140 crore Indians are grateful to the Sikh gurus for their unwavering commitment to their faith," the CM said. Adityanath also highlighted the remarkable life of Guru Nanak Dev, who embodied devotion and worked tirelessly for humanity despite facing numerous challenges. He noted that Guru Tegh Bahadur's spiritual radiance was unmatched, even in the face of brutal suppression by Mughal rulers. The CM expressed gratitude to the four Sahibzadas - Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh, and Fateh Singh - for their ultimate sacrifice and martyrdom. He wrote on his official social media handle, "Jo Bole So Nihal! Sat Sri Akal!" emphasizing the importance of prioritizing one's land and faith for progress. Adityanath's remarks on the occasion of 'Veer Bal Diwas' underscore the significance of the Sikh gurus' legacy in Indian history, serving as a beacon of devotion, valour, and selfless service.
