In a remarkable feat, 17-year-old Aditya Kumar from Uttar Pradesh has designed an artificial intelligence (AI) teacher robot named Sophie, equipped with a Large Language Model (LLM) chipset. The robot, which can converse in Hindi, is capable of answering various questions on subjects such as history, geography, and science. According to ANI, Aditya created Sophie using an LLM chipset, a technology also used by major robot manufacturers. The robot can currently respond to questions verbally but will soon be able to write as well. Aditya, a 12th-grade student of Shiv Charan Inter College, envisions a future where every district has a proper lab for students to conduct research, just like he did. In a video posted on social media, Aditya demonstrates Sophie's capabilities by asking it various questions, including about the world's tallest building and India's first president. Sophie accurately responds to these questions and even performs basic calculations. When asked if it can properly teach students, Sophie confidently responds that it is indeed capable. Aditya believes that Sophie can serve as a substitute teacher in case a teacher is absent for a day. With Sophie, Aditya is paving the way for innovative solutions in education, emphasizing the importance of accessible technology for students. As Aditya continues to work on Sophie's development, the potential for this AI teacher robot to revolutionize education is vast. With its capabilities and Aditya's vision, Sophie is set to make a significant impact in the field of education.
