A viral video has sparked outrage and landed Indian YouTuber Shadab Jakati in trouble. The Uttar Pradesh police arrested him on Thursday for allegedly making objectionable remarks in a clip featuring a minor and women. The footage, which spread rapidly online, prompted public outcry and calls for strict action, leading authorities to intervene. A case was filed against Jakati based on a complaint from a local resident, Anees. He has been booked under Section 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act for allegedly publishing or transmitting obscene material online. Jakati's lawyer argued that the minor in the video is his daughter, and the woman is his wife. However, the complaint alleges that the influencer made indecent comments during the interaction. After being arrested and produced before a court, Jakati was granted bail. In a statement to the media, Jakati apologized for any offense caused by the video and confirmed that he has removed it from all his social media accounts. He claimed to have had no intention of causing harm. The incident highlights the importance of responsible content creation and the need for strict action against those who spread objectionable material online.
