Viral Video Reveals Brutal Assault on Notorious Offender in MP's Sagar; Man Dies in Hospital

A 39-year-old man with a history of run-ins with the law was brutally beaten by a group of men in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, with a disturbing video of the assault going viral on social media. The incident occurred in the Lajpatpur area, where the victim, Sushil Chaube, was allegedly attacked with sticks by a mob on November 25. Chaube died the next day after being rushed to a hospital, prompting his family to approach the police. According to SHO Manish Singal, Chaube had around 30 cases registered against him, including charges of robbery and assault. The video, which has sparked outrage, shows Chaube being beaten by around 15 men who can be heard shouting instructions and demanding that he be dragged. The police are investigating the incident and have picked up some individuals for questioning after being named by Chaube's family. The authorities are also looking into the person who recorded the video and are waiting for the post-mortem report to register an FIR. The case has sparked concerns about law and order in the region, and Chaube's family is demanding strict action against those responsible for his death.
