In a move to boost their struggling passing game, the Buffalo Bills have elevated receiver Gabe Davis from the practice squad and signed Mecole Hardman to their active roster. The duo aims to provide a much-needed spark to the Bills' offense, particularly in the deep threat department. Davis, who spent the first eight weeks of the season recovering from a knee injury, has the potential to regain his form and top 500 yards receiving in each of his next seasons in Buffalo. Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs, joins the Bills after being signed to the practice squad on Tuesday. In addition to his receiving skills, he is expected to take over the kick-returning duties following the release of Brandon Codrington. The 27-year-old's arrival comes as the Bills aim to bounce back from three consecutive losses, with Josh Allen struggling to push the ball deep in those games. The Bills have also activated rookie tackle T.J. Sanders from injured reserve, adding depth to their depleted defensive line. Sanders, a second-round draft pick from South Carolina, appeared in the team's first four games before suffering a knee injury in practice. With tight end Dalton Kincaid ruled out due to a hamstring injury, the Bills have elevated practice squad tight end Keleki Latu to bolster their tight end position.
