Freshman Cameron Boozer was the standout performer, scoring 25 points and grabbing eight rebounds in just 23 minutes. Boozer's impressive display was part of a balanced Blue Devils attack, which saw four players score in double figures. His brother, Cayden Boozer, chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds. The Blue Devils' offense was efficient, shooting 46.9% from the field and making 25 of 33 free throws. However, they struggled from beyond the arc, making just 10 of 32 three-point attempts. Western Carolina, on the other hand, struggled to find their rhythm, missing 18 of their first 20 shots and 26 of their first 31 attempts.
