Peter Heine Nielsen has been coach to Magnus Carlsen for over two decades, guiding the five-time world chess champion to greatness. Nielsen shares his experiences working with Carlsen, who has never been one to be overly ambitious. Despite Carlsen's dominance, Nielsen believes that chess fans have been spoiled and that there isn't another player on the horizon who can match Carlsen's run of supremacy.

Nielsen also talks about his journey with Viswanathan Anand and how his own life situation has changed over the years. He reveals that Carlsen's preparation has been scaled down, and that his strongest suit isn't the opening. Nielsen also shares his thoughts on Gukesh, the current world champion, and how he believes that Gukesh can lose to anybody but also has a high chance of winning against everyone.

Nielsen is spending his days during the Norway Chess fortnight travelling to and from Carlsen's house, where they go golfing together. Nielsen shares his passion for golf and how it's a game where you're mainly playing against yourself.
