According to Cory Woodroof, writing for The Win of USA Today, the Sun may bring back Van Lith if they really want to keep her. However, it remains to be seen if she would be willing to accept a development contract if another WNBA team offers her a spot on their 12-woman squad.
Van Lith has been a key player for the Sun this season, averaging 8.1 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in nine games played. She has also seen more minutes per game than she did with the Chicago Sky, averaging just over 17 minutes.
Beyond her numbers, Van Lith is a crowd-puller, with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and a reported net worth of between $1 million to $5 million.
