Germany thrashed debutants Curacao 7-1 in their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign opener in Houston.
Felix Nmecha opened the scoring in the sixth minute, assisted by Florian Wirtz.
Curacao equalised in the 21st minute through Livano Comenencia, their first-ever WC goal.
Nico Schlotterbeck made it 2-1 for Germany in the 38th minute, and Kai Havertz converted a penalty to make it 3-1 before half-time.
Just after half-time, Jamal Musial scored Germany's fourth, and Undav assisted Nathaniel Brown for the fifth in the 68th minute.
Undav scored Germany's sixth goal in the 78th minute, and Havertz completed his brace in the 88th minute.
