HS Prannoy is hoping for a similar turnaround in his career, just like he experienced in 2023. The shuttler has been struggling with post-Covid health complications and a dip in performance, but he's confident that his game is there and he has the confidence to go deep in competitions.

Prannoy, who slipped to world No.37, has not gone past the second round in all seven tournaments he has featured in this year. However, he's been included for the team event at the Asian Games and is hoping to get on a winning run by then.

Despite a string of early exits, Prannoy is happy with the way his game is shaping up. He feels he has played really well this year, but needs to work on adding variations to his net game. He's been working on adding new shots to his repertoire with coach RMV Gurusaidutt and is hoping to sharpen his skills.

Prannoy also expressed confidence in India's next generation of men's singles players, including Lakshya Sen, Ayush Shetty, and Tharun Mannepalli. He believes that the country has some great talent and needs to identify and groom them into potential top-10s.
