In a resounding turnaround from their worst-ever collapse, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 35-6 on Sunday. The win marked a strong response to their 36-29 loss to the Houston Texans, where they blew a 19-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Jaguars' offense, led by quarterback Trevor Lawrence, was unstoppable, scoring three rushing touchdowns. Travis Etienne and rookie Bhaysul Tuten were the standout performers, contributing 74 and 73 yards respectively. Lawrence also found Tim Patrick for a 1-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, giving the Jaguars a comfortable cushion. Meanwhile, the Chargers' struggling offense was unable to mount any significant resistance. The team, who had traveled across the country for an early start, finished with just 135 yards and eight first downs. Coach Jim Harbaugh's decision to turn to backup quarterback Trey Lance in the final 11 minutes only added to the Chargers' woes. The Jaguars' defense, led by Josh Hines-Allen, was also instrumental in the win. Hines-Allen broke the franchise sacks record with his 56th career sack, surpassing Tony Brackens' 20-year-old mark. However, the Jaguars suffered some injuries during the game. Cornerback Greg Newsome was ruled out at halftime due to an ankle injury, while defensive end Travon Walker was listed as questionable to return after injuring his right knee in the third quarter. Rookie Bhaysul Tuten also tweaked his ankle in the fourth quarter. The Chargers will now look to regroup during their bye week before hosting the Raiders on November 30. The Jaguars, on the other hand, will play at Arizona next Sunday.
