New Delhi: Lakshya Sen's inspiring run at the All England Championships ended in the final, leaving him both proud and disheartened. The talented shuttler drew confidence from his campaign, which included knocking out world No.1 Shi Yuqi and reigning Asian Games champion Li Shi-feng.

Lakshya, 24, acknowledged the emotional toll of his second All England final, where he fell short against Lin Chun-Yi in straight games. He credited his campaign with a steady growth curve, citing a Commonwealth Games title, a Thomas Cup win, and a fourth-place finish at the Paris Olympics.

Lakshya revealed that he had a gameplan for the final, but the semi-final against Victor Lai took a toll on his body, causing cramp and blisters. He praised his mental resilience in fighting through the pain and taking it one point at a time.
