In a display of exceptional golfing prowess, Sweden's Linn Grant captured her second LPGA title at The Annika, leaving a trail of impressive performances in her wake. Grant's mastery over the course was evident as she played the final 52 holes without a bogey, a remarkable streak that came to an end on the final hole. The 19-under 261 finish secured Grant a three-shot victory, and she received a trophy from Swedish golf legend and tournament host Annika Sorenstam for her efforts. Sorenstam praised Grant, saying, 'You made this course look easy. It's not easy.' Grant's dominance was evident from the start, as she birdied the second hole to take the lead and never looked back. A 15-foot birdie putt on the fifth hole and a 10-foot birdie putt on the ninth hole sealed her control over the game. Jennifer Kupcho's brief challenge was quickly overcome, and Grant extended her lead to three shots after Kupcho made her second bogey of the front nine. Kupcho closed with a 65, but it was Grant who took the crown. In a post-match interview, Grant attributed her success to Kupcho's strong play, saying, 'I'm glad she was playing well because I think that really pushed me to play better.' Other notable performances included Gaby Lopez's third-place finish, Brooke Matthews' hole-in-one and eagle, and Nataliya Guseva's clutch birdie on the final hole. Matthews' impressive display earned her a two-year lease on a Lamborghini Huracán and catapulted her into the top 60 of the Race to the CME Globe. Linn Grant's win marks her second LPGA title and extends her streak of winning a tournament each year since 2020. Her impressive golfing credentials now include titles on the LPGA, Ladies European Tour, LET Access Series, Ladies Sunshine Tour, Nordic Golf League, and even the European Tour. Defending champion Nelly Korda struggled to keep pace with Grant, closing with a 69 and tying for 15th place.
