The Baltimore Ravens have parted ways with Cooper Rush, Lamar Jackson's backup, after the team failed to acquire Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders.
Crosby, a five-time Pro Bowler, had committed to the Raiders after a proposed trade to the Ravens fell through due to a failed physical.
The 28-year-old defensive end had been viewed as one of the top defensive ends in the league, with 10 sacks and a career-high 28 tackles for loss last season.
Crosby's wife, Rachel, celebrated his six years of sobriety on Instagram, praising his hard work and dedication.
The Ravens have re-signed Snoop Huntley as their new QB2, while the Raiders have Trey Hendrickson to make up for the failed Crosby deal.
