New Delhi: The 68th National Shooting Championships are in full swing, with over 16,000 participants across three disciplines - rifle, pistol, and shotgun. The event, which runs through January, has attracted a star-studded lineup, including Olympic medallists, world champions, and seasoned shooters. At the Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, top shooters like Manu Bhaker, Swapnil Kusale, and Aishwary Pratap Tomar are rubbing shoulders with young talent, including Suruchi Phogat and Vijayveer Sidhu. The atmosphere is electric, with shooters of all ages sharing ideas and learning from each other. Arjun Babuta, a seasoned Olympian, believes that the young shooters bring a fresh perspective to the sport. "They have new ideas, new techniques, and it's great to see them engaging with us," he says. "It's a mutual sharing of ideas, and it makes me feel good that they look up to me.
