In a dominant performance, Stonehill's defense forced three interceptions and held Saint Francis scoreless for 56 minutes, while Jack O'Connell's two touchdown passes in the second quarter sealed the win. The Skyhawks' ground game, led by Joshua Roberson's 128 yards, proved instrumental in building a 20-7 halftime lead. O'Connell's accuracy in the red zone was the turning point, as he connected with Cody Ruff for a 24-yard score and Cole Clarke from 17 yards out, giving Stonehill a 10-7 lead. Domenic Scalese's field goals from 48 and 45 yards further extended the lead. Saint Francis briefly took the lead in the first quarter with Adrian Mejia's 50-yard touchdown pass to Brandon London. However, the Red Flash struggled to regain momentum, with Mejia being intercepted once and Jake Hamilton adding two more picks in relief. Mac Plummer's 40-yard field goal in the fourth quarter pulled the Red Flash within 10 points, but they failed to cross midfield again. Stonehill's defense allowed only 151 yards passing and secured its fourth win of the season by pinning Saint Francis deep and running out the final minutes. The Skyhawks' impressive defensive effort and timely offense proved too much for the Red Flash to overcome.
