Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana's wedding to music composer Palaash Muchhal has been put on hold after her father, Shriniwas Mandhana, and fiancé experienced sudden health issues. Smriti's father was rushed to the hospital on November 23 after showing symptoms of a heart attack, and just a day later, Palaash was also hospitalized in Sangli, Maharashtra. According to sources, Palaash is recovering, while Smriti's father remains under observation. In the midst of this family crisis, Smriti has deleted all her wedding-related posts from Instagram, including her engagement announcement and proposal video. The sudden move has sparked concern among fans, who had been eagerly anticipating the intimate ceremony. The wedding proposal video, which went viral weeks ago, featured Smriti's teammates Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patil, Radha Yadav, and Arundhati Reddy. Smriti's teammates have also allegedly deleted the engagement video from their Instagram accounts. However, the main wedding proposal video remains visible on Palaash's Instagram. Smriti's manager confirmed that her father was rushed to the hospital after feeling unwell during breakfast and that the wedding has been postponed until he recovers. The doctor has advised him to stay in the hospital, and Smriti wants to ensure his health and well-being before proceeding with the wedding. The wedding management team has confirmed that yesterday's ceremony was called off, and no new date has been set. Smriti and Palaash were originally set to tie the knot in Sangli, Maharashtra, in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. Several members of India's women's cricket team had joined Smriti in the lead-up to the celebrations.
