No. 24 Vanderbilt secured a 96-71 victory over Saint Mary's in the championship game of the Battle 4 Atlantis on Friday. The Commodores were led by Duke Miles' 25 points, while Jalen Washington contributed a career-high 19 points off the bench. The game saw a close start, with Saint Mary's opening the second half with a 10-2 run to narrow the gap to 53-44. However, Miles' three-point play gave Vanderbilt a double-digit lead once again. The Commodores maintained a comfortable margin, with Washington's three-point play on an alley-oop dunk restoring a 16-point lead. Vanderbilt's offense was impressive throughout the game, with Miles making 9 of 16 shots and adding four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Washington shot 7 of 11 shots. The team's scoring prowess was on full display, with six players averaging double digits in scoring, led by Miles' 17.9 points per game.
