The World Tennis League (WTL) is gearing up for its highly anticipated India debut in Bengaluru from December 17-20. The league has announced its team owners and star-packed squads, featuring global and Indian tennis stars. Four teams - Game Changers Falcons, VB Realty Hawks, Aussie Mavericks Kites, and AOS Eagles - will compete in the four-day tournament at the SM Krishna Tennis Stadium. Each team boasts an impressive lineup of experienced players and coaches. The Game Changers Falcons, led by John Laffnie De Jager, have Daniil Medvedev, Rohan Bopanna, Magda Linette, and Sahaja Yamalapalli on their team. VB Realty Hawks, coached by Robert Lindstedt, feature Denis Shapovalov, Yuki Bhambri, Elina Svitolina, and Maaya Revathi. Aussie Mavericks Kites, led by Julian Knowle, include Nick Kyrgios, Dhakshineshwar Suresh, Marta Kostyuk, and Ankita Raina. AOS Eagles, coached by Mark Gellard, have Gael Monfils, Sumit Nagal, Paula Badosa, and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty on their team. Team owners expressed their confidence in their respective teams, highlighting their strength and potential to win.
